This strategic role will require an inspirational leader with a track record in delivering large-scale sports facilities to ensure the successful execution of this iconic venue, which will serve as a centerpiece for national athletics. Responsibilities Oversee the construction and end-to-end delivery phases of the Stadium, ensuring the project adheres to its vision and performance standards. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to develop effective strategies for project delivery that meet budget, quality, and timeline parameters. Engage with stakeholders, including government entities, sports organizations, and community representatives, to align project objectives with national interests. Implement and enforce rigorous project governance, risk management practices, and quality control procedures throughout the delivery lifecycle. Monitor project progress through regular site assessments and reporting to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. Facilitate strong collaboration among contractors and suppliers to foster a successful project environment. Provide strategic guidance and updates to senior management regarding project status, potential challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Promote sustainable practices and innovations that contribute to the functionality and environmental stewardship of the stadium. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field Minimum of 12 years of experience in project delivery, particularly within the sports infrastructure sector Must have proven experience in successfully delivering a major stadium or arena project and po large-scale projects, with a solid understanding of construction, design, and engineering processes Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams Deep understanding of project management methodologies and best practices Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders Proficient in project management software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities
