Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the charge in creating an extraordinary destination for sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Manager - Design for Sports Assets to play a pivotal role in the design and development of state-of-the-art sports facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of designing modern sports venues. Responsibilities Lead the design process for sports assets, ensuring all designs align with Qiddiya’s vision and strategic goals. Collaborate with stakeholders, including sports organizations, to define specific requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs. Manage a team of designers and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable sports facilities that enhance athlete and spectator experiences. Develop design standards and guidelines that adhere to international regulations and best practices in sports facility design. Conduct regular design reviews to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the overall vision. Engage with local and international sports venue experts to incorporate cutting-edge trends and technologies into the design. Ensure all designs comply with environmental sustainability standards and promote efficient use of resources. Present design concepts to senior leadership and other stakeholders, articulating the vision, benefits, and feasibility of the proposed designs. Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing sports facilities or large-scale architectural projects. Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects from concept to completion. Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design experience, particularly in sports or entertainment sectors. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related tools. Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging varied stakeholders. Understanding of sustainability practices and regulations related to sports facility design.
