Position Overview: The Senior Specialist - Receiving plays a crucial role in the efficient functioning of our distribution center operations by overseeing and optimizing the receiving processes. This senior specialist ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established procedures, contributing to the overall success of the distribution center. Receiving Operations: Oversee all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing inbound shipments. Ensure the accurate and timely documentation of received shipments, including updating inventory records. Team Leadership: Supervise team members, providing guidance in receiving operations, fostering efficiency, accuracy, and teamwork. Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse departments, such as inventory control, warehouse operations, and quality control, to ensure the efficient receiving of products. Performance Monitoring: Ensure monitoring of receiving operations to maintain a high level of operational efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant safety and regulatory requirements in the receiving area. Qualification and Experience : 3+ years of experience in distribution center receiving operations, demonstrating leadership capabilities. Leadership knowledge of receiving processes, inventory systems, and supply chain operations. Experience in a relevant field. Skills Receiving Operations: Proficient in overseeing all aspects of receiving operations, including unloading, sorting, and processing. Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory systems and processes. Team Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate team members for effective and efficient operations. Process Improvement: Skill in identifying and implementing improvements to enhance receiving processes. Performance Monitoring: Expertise in monitoring and analyzing KPIs to drive continuous improvement in receiving operations.
