Responsibilities: Serve as the technical authority for roadway, highway, and infrastructure lighting Review and approve lighting designs, drawings, and specifications submitted by contractors and consultants Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and energy-efficient lighting practices Conduct site inspections and quality audits to ensure contractor adherence to lighting design and specifications Review and approve RFIs, submittals, and design modifications related to lighting systems Provide technical guidance on electrical layouts, luminaires, control systems, and energy management Collaborate with civil, electrical, and traffic teams for coordinated design implementation Support project handover by reviewing as-built drawings, commissioning reports, and maintenance manuals Review installation methodologies, lighting fixture placement, and electrical integration Provide input on value engineering, sustainability, and cost optimization for lighting systems Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Mentor and guide junior lighting engineers and electrical staff within the PMC team Essential Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Minimum 15 years of experience in lighting design and supervision for road, highway, or infrastructure projects Proven experience in a PMC or consultancy role In-depth knowledge of local Saudi standards, lighting codes, and energy efficiency guidelines Strong coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills Expertise in roadway, street, and infrastructure lighting systems
