BIM Engineer

Responsibilities: Manage and review BIM models submitted by consultants and contractors. Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design clashes and technical issues. Conduct clash detection using recognized BIM tools and prepare reports for follow-up. Oversee model updates, version control, and documentation accuracy. Support the PMC team in design reviews, technical evaluations, and constructability assessments. Prepare BIM-based visualizations, schedules, and quantity extractions to support project decisions. Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and track actions until closure. Review shop drawings, as-built models, and ensure alignment with contract requirements. Provide guidance to project teams on best practices and technical standards. Maintain BIM documentation, workflows, and project data in line with PMC procedures. Assist in the integration of BIM with project planning, cost control, and facility management requirements where applicable. Essential Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field. 8+ years of experience in BIM coordination, modeling, and project support. Strong background working on large-scale PMC or institutional projects (school, education, or defense sector preferred). Proficient in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related software. Strong understanding of multi-disciplinary design (architectural, structural, MEP). Experience in clash detection, model auditing, and BIM data management. Good communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
