BIM Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Create, maintain, and coordinate 3D BIM models (Revit, Navisworks, etc.) for architecture, structure, and MEP. Convert 2D designs and construction documentation into detailed, constructible 3D models. Conduct clash detection sessions across disciplines and drive resolution of conflicts. Implement and enforce BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) in alignment with Dar Al Riyadh’s standards. Generate shop/construction drawings, schedules, and documentation directly from the BIM models. Support quantity take-off and cost estimation using model data. Monitor and manage BIM data version control and model maintenance. Maintain and expand BIM content libraries (families, templates, etc.). Provide regular BIM status updates, clash reports, and model health checks to project leads. Suggest improvements, optimize workflows, and promote best practices in BIM processes. Participate in project coordination meetings, acting as a technical point of contact for BIM-related issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related. 8+ years of professional experience in BIM modeling, coordination, or design. Expert-level proficiency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD (or equivalent). Experience implementing BIM standards / BEPs (preferably ISO 19650 or equivalent). Solid understanding of construction documentation and model-based drawing production. Strong coordination & communication skills across design disciplines. Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Proactive attitude and ability to propose constructive process improvements. Experience in clash detection and model-based deliverables (QA/QC).
