Job Description
Responsibilities: Lead BIM implementation and coordination throughout all stages of the design, construction, and handover. Develop, manage, and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Model Production Delivery Tables (MPDT), and project-specific BIM workflows. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, Structure, MEP, Civil) to ensure model accuracy, clash-free integration, and compliance with standards. Conduct BIM model audits, clash detection, and issue tracking using tools such as Navisworks, Solibri, or equivalent. Support the implementation of 4D (construction sequencing) and 5D (cost estimation) BIM for planning and control. Integrate BIM models with GIS systems, asset management tools, and Common Data Environments (CDEs). Ensure alignment with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650). Provide leadership and mentorship to BIM team members and junior engineers. Act as the main point of contact for BIM coordination among clients, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors. Oversee digital handover and delivery of as-built BIM models for use in facility management systems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of 20 years of experience in BIM, with at least 10 years on large-scale urban development or infrastructure projects. Strong experience in CMS or EPCM project environments. Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, BIM 360 / ACC, and related BIM tools. Solid knowledge of COBie, IFC, and integration with FM systems. Proven track record in model coordination, clash detection, and federated model management. Strong understanding of construction processes and smart city/digital twin applications. Familiarity with regional authority standards and smart city development frameworks is a plus
