the Receiving Inspector will be responsible for evaluating incoming goods to ensure they meet aviation safety and regulatory standards. This position involves inspection, documentation, and decision-making to maintain the highest quality and safety standards within our operations. Responsibilities: Evaluate the condition of incoming goods by inspecting packaging, labeling, and attached documentation to ensure compliance with aviation safety and regulatory standards. Identify and document damages, defects, or discrepancies in received items and initiate corrective actions or reporting procedures. Verify accuracy and compliance of accompanying documentation, such as certificates of authenticity, conformity, modification status, and quality assurance documents. Make decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of received goods based on established quality criteria. Oversee processes for handling non-conforming or rejected items, including coordinating returns, replacements, or corrective actions. Enter inspection results and related information into databases or record-keeping systems. Generate reports detailing inspection outcomes, non-conformances, and other relevant data. Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Goods Inspector. In-depth knowledge of aircraft technical documentation (e.g., ATA 49, 7x, 8x). Familiarity with part certification regulations (GACA, EASA, FAA). Understanding of company processes and procedures applicable to the work environment and personnel. Minimum General Secondary Education Certificate or Technical and Vocational Training degree. Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification is mandatory. Knowledge of IATA safety and regulatory compliance. Expertise in handling Hazardous Materials, Safety Management Systems (SMS), and Suspected Unapproved Parts. Awareness of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) protocols. Excellent attention to detail with strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
