The Line Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for carrying out all line maintenance activities, as well as providing assistance, while oversighting third party activities. Able to demonstrate in-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge. Preparation of BSI & Compressor wash equipment at site. Carry out borescope & Eng wash tasks in accordance with AMM. Evaluate damage found in BSI in accordance with AMM. Write reports detailing BSI findings and condition of engine. Monitor and oversight engine-run post compressor wash. Well up-keeping of BSI and Eng Wash equipment and reporting of equipment defects. Releasing ACFT after tasks are accomplished. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and systems modifications on all Thales Systems. Travel with BSI equipment to perform Borescope inspection tasks in outer stations. At least 3 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the A320 aircraft. At least 5 years’ experience in a Line/Base aircraft Maintenance environment. Valid GACA A & P/FAA or equivalent Aircraft Maintenance License. A320 (CFM56/LEAP 1A) family type rating. Engine run (RTS). CFM 56B Borescope Inspection Approval.
