The Storekeeper is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and supporting maintenance operations by ensuring proper handling, storage, and distribution of parts and supplies. This role involves maintaining accurate records of stock levels, inspecting deliveries for discrepancies, rotating stock, and coordinating the shipment and receipt of items. The Storekeeper also ensures compliance with safety procedures, inventory management practices, and regulatory standards while contributing to the seamless operation of maintenance activities. Attention to detail, effective coordination, and adherence to safety protocols are critical to the success of this role. Responsibilities: Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom. Receive, unload, and shelve supplies. Visual inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies. Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control. Handle packing involves carefully and efficiently preparing items for storage, transportation, or shipment. This includes selecting appropriate packaging materials, securely wrapping and labelling them for identification. Provide the serviceable parts up to the aircraft to support the line maintenance personal. Handle off-core unit to be shipped back to the address s per mentioned by AFHS team on a very tight time. Collect the unserviceable (U/S) parts from aircraft involves ensuring that the correct parts are delivered to the aircraft for maintenance or repair. Coordinate with material planners to ship the (U/S) to repair station if required. Coordinate with material planners to ship the serviceable parts to the station required as per maintenance plan. Maintain stock, receive, and store goods, and ensure the security of the items in the store.
