Enterprise Architecture (EA) Governance Lead

The Enterprise Architecture (EA) Governance Lead is a critical role responsible for ensuring the effective execution and operationalization of EA governance practices within the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in aligning architecture principles, standards, and reference models with solution delivery and investment decisions, all while adhering to the approved enterprise direction.

• Participate in EA processes and architecture reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct thorough assessments of architecture proposals, evaluating their compliance with EA principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Govern and ensure compliance of systems and new projects with EA standards, identifying and addressing any deviations.
• Regularly review EA standards and monitor compliance across various initiatives to maintain consistency.
• Manage architecture exceptions, including documentation, impact assessment, and escalation to relevant stakeholders.

• Map applications and initiatives to business capabilities and strategic objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze and identify redundancies, solution reuse, consolidation, and rationalization candidates.
• Provide analysis and evidence to support cost-efficiency initiatives driven by EA, ensuring informed decision-making.

• Facilitate the practical application of EA principles, guidance, and reference architectures within the organization.
• Plan, design, and recommend processes to enhance and support EA activities, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze and document EA requirements and processes, ensuring they are well-defined and accessible.

• Collaborate with domain architects to create, maintain, and manage EA standards, reference models, and artifacts.
• Populate EA artifacts, views, and viewpoints, ensuring a comprehensive and accurate representation of the enterprise architecture.
• Ensure EA documentation is clear, usable, consistent, and compliant with EA standards.

• Act as a communication bridge between EA governance and delivery teams, ensuring smooth collaboration.
• Support delivery teams by providing guidance and ensuring EA standards are understood and implemented.
• Facilitate effective knowledge transfer and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote EA adoption.
