The Flight Dispatcher is responsible for ensuring proper assessment of operational and weather factors that can affect the safety of a flight to ensure safe and efficient operations of flyadeal aircraft. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate field conditions and NOTAMS for conditions that will affect the safety of flyadeal flights. Plan and evaluate company operation flight plans (OFP) for flight(s) under control, for errors in routes, altitudes, weights, check points, times, weather information, fuel etc. Analyse operational conditions and identify any opportunities that may constrain or benefit operational capabilities inclusive of, but not limited to weather, facilities, Air Traffic Control, and aircraft performance. Verify proper fuel load for flights under control, considering the relative cost of fuel at various stations. Closely monitor onboard activities during flight operations and when grounded to ensure compliance to all procedures. Maintain a complete record of flight operation, including flight safety and maintenance record, departure and arrival information. Communicate revised operational flight plans to optimize revenue payload potential while maintaining adequate safety standards. Send movement messages to destination stations after aircraft departure. Maintain daily communication with MCC on outstanding MEL/CDL items which may affect the aircraft mass and or performance limitations. Verify maximum take-off, landing and zero fuel weights for each flight segment. Execute emergency procedures when required in accordance with flyadeal Emergency Response Plan (ERP). Remain updated with GACA Regulations on Flight Dispatch and operation control. Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or any relevant field. GACA Flight Dispatcher License is required. Minimum +3 years of experience in aviation out of which 2 years as flight dispatcher.
