In this role, you will be responsible for envisioning and executing innovative landscape designs that enhance the aesthetic and ecological values of Qiddiya’s projects. By leading a talented team of landscape architects, you will play a critical role in creating immersive experiences that blend nature and functionality, fostering a unique harmony that resonates with visitors. Core Responsibilities Define and implement the strategic vision for landscape architecture in alignment with Qiddiya’s mission and values. Manage the landscape design process from initial concept through execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget while meeting the highest quality standards. Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, promoting innovation and collaboration across all phases of project development. Work closely with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of landscape elements into the overall project design. Engage with community members, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate public input and approval processes. Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and best practices in sustainable design. Conduct thorough site evaluations and engage in hands-on analysis to inform design decisions that positively impact the environment. Monitor project budgets and resources, optimizing workflows to enhance operational efficiency. Stay at the forefront of landscape architecture trends, incorporating innovative solutions and technologies into projects. Prepare and present design proposals and project updates to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders. Master's degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., ASLA, CMLI) are preferred. Minimum of 12 - 15 years of experience in landscape architecture, specifically in lead roles for large-scale development projects. A comprehensive portfolio showcasing creative landscape designs and successful project execution in urban or entertainment settings. Strong understanding of sustainable design practices, landscape ecology, and construction technologies. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and engage with various stakeholders effectively. Proficiency in landscape design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and project management applications. Demonstrated project management skills, including budget oversight and timeline management. A collaborative approach to problem-solving, able to build consensus among diverse groups. Commitment to continuous learning and a passion for advancing the field of landscape architecture.
