Revenue Accounting Manager

The role is responsible for supporting effective cash management processes in line with the corporate liquidity and risk management guidelines. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly revenue intake sheets, spreadsheet files and inter-company reports. Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for revenue-related accounts. Design and maintain effective internal controls over revenue processes. Ensure accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data. Prepare journal entries required for monthly revenue recognition / billing process. Research and resolve discrepancies identified in monthly revenue numbers and explains variances. Liaise with banks and other financial institutions to identify the most favorable deposit and borrowing terms for flyadeal, in order to optimize costs. Ensure proper revisions are performed in revenue transactions for the new customers, in order to ensure the consistency with established revenue terms and patterns. Ensure timely collection of revenue transactions, coordinate with relevant departments, analyse overdue customer balances. Formulate action plans to reduce the number of outstanding invoices, in compliance with flyadeal’s corporate policies. Participate in developing and managing budget and forecasting future revenue. Liaises with internal audit in order to assist with preparation of annual audit schedules. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration any other relevant field. Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum +7 years’ experience in revenue management. Revenue recognition. Data analysis. Revenue budgeting and forecasting. Expert in Microsoft excel. Strong knowledge of ERP system. Strategic thinking. Negotiation skills.
