About the Role Are you ready to take the lead in driving quality, safety, and compliance in ground operations? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to oversee and ensure compliance, consistency, and continuous improvement across all ground operations activities. In this position, you will lead the quality and compliance agenda across ground operations, ensuring every activity meets the highest standards of safety, consistency, and performance. In this impactful role, you will shape and drive the Quality Management System (QMS) by embedding a culture of continuous improvement, whilst ensuring full alignment with regulatory and industry requirements. A key component of your success will be the ownership and oversight of end-to-end audits, and supporting both internal and external assessments. Using globally recognised methodologies, you will identify opportunities to elevate performance, close process gaps, and prepare the operation for key regulatory and partner audits with confidence and precision. Yours is a role which will play a central role in strengthening operational integrity by investigating quality incidents, engaging stakeholders, and driving meaningful corrective actions. Through your leadership of Quality Action Group (QAG) activities, this role will translate data into insights, track performance trends, and ensure risks are proactively managed across all stations and service partners. You will also ensure that all operational documentation, procedures, and standards remain accurate, controlled, and regulator-approved. By overseeing ground handling partners and championing standardisation, you will help deliver a seamless, compliant, and error-free ground operation that reflects world-class aviation excellence. Lastly, this role will demand that the successful candidate take the lead when challenges arise such as investigating quality incidents, connecting with key stakeholders, and driving corrective actions that make a real difference. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure documentation stays relevant and robust, supporting a safe, efficient, and consistently strong performance. About You Degree qualified, you will demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in Aviation Ground Operations, Quality Assurance, Audit, Compliance, or Safety. You are expected to be certified in IOSA Airline Auditor Training as well as demonstrate sound knowledge of ground handling operations, ramp safety, and aviation safety standards. You will possess hands-on experience conducting audits, inspections, and incident investigations as well as, a track record of managing compliance with global aviation regulations and liaising with authorities such as ICAO, FAA, or EASA.
