Job Overview This role is conducted within the vision, mission, and strategic plan of the Insurance Authority. Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, this role will direct the end-to-end delivery of complex, high-priority transformation initiatives within the Division’s enterprise portfolio. The Project Manager will orchestrate cross-functional planning, governance, vendor collaboration, and financial stewardship to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality objectives are consistently achieved. By embedding rigorous risk management and data-driven performance control, the position safeguards regulatory compliance, mitigates delivery threats, preserves budget integrity, and realises targeted business value. Furthermore, the incumbent cultivates transparent stakeholder engagement, drives continuous refinement of PMO standards, and champions lessons-learned adoption, thereby elevating organisational project-delivery maturity and accelerating sustainable strategic outcomes. Responsibilities and Tasks Develop detailed project charters, work-breakdown structures and baselined schedules that are fully aligned with the Transformation & Project Management methodology and approved by the Manager of Project Management. Coordinate cross-functional scoping workshops with Business Analysts, Architects and Finance partners to clarify deliverables, resource estimates and capital-expenditure requirements. Prepare robust business-case documentation and present it to the Portfolio Review Board for gating decisions and funding release. Lead day-to-day execution activities, track progress against the integrated master schedule and update earned-value metrics to keep the Manager of Project Management informed of performance variances. Drive coordinated delivery across internal workstreams, external vendors and shared-services teams, resolving task-level impediments and escalating systemic blockers in a timely manner. Maintain comprehensive project repositories—issue logs, decision registers, action trackers—in the enterprise PPM tool to ensure data integrity and audit readiness. Identify, assess and quantify project risks using the corporate risk matrix, develop mitigation plans and facilitate monthly risk-review meetings with workstream leads. Ensure compliance with PMO governance checkpoints, submit required artefacts for quality assurance reviews and obtain formal stage-gate sign-offs. Manage change-control processes, analysing impact on scope, cost and timeline, and secure approval from the Change Advisory Board before implementation. Produce and present fortnightly status reports, KPI dashboards and financial forecasts to middle-management stakeholders and the Portfolio Manager to support data-driven decisions. Foster collaborative relationships with peer Project Managers to share lessons learned and contribute to the refinement of PMO templates, standards and best practices. Perform post-implementation reviews, capture benefits-realisation metrics and recommend process enhancements to continuously elevate project delivery maturity. Perform other job duties as assigned. Job requirements Educational Qualifications (required) Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Strategic Management, or related field Master’s degree preferred Certifications (required) Relevant Professional Certificate is preferred Experience 4+ years with Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years with Master’s degree Position relevant experience is required.
