Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Design (Structural) to join our Sports Business Unit. This role is critical in leading and managing all structural design activities for sports-related projects, ensuring engineering excellence and alignment with overall project goals. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative, safe, and sustainable structural design solutions for world-class sports facilities. Key Responsibilities: Lead the structural design efforts for sports facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and best practices. Manage and coordinate structural design teams, consultants, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Review and approve structural design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure quality and accuracy. Collaborate closely with architectural, MEP, and other engineering teams to integrate structural elements within the overall design. Oversee structural analysis, modeling, and simulation to optimize design efficiency and safety. Ensure design schedules and milestones are met while managing risks and resolving design issues. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the structural design team members. Engage with stakeholders to communicate design progress, challenges, and solutions effectively. Stay updated with the latest developments in structural engineering and sports facility design standards. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or related field. 7+ years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably with a focus on sports facilities or large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven experience leading structural design teams and managing complex projects. Strong knowledge of structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, or equivalent. Familiarity with international building codes and standards relevant to sports facilities. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. Experience in the Middle East or similar markets is a plus.
