Role Summary: The Cybersecurity Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and maintaining a cloud-first security posture that directly aligns with the SAMA CSF and implements the CIS Controls . This role translates business risk and regulatory requirements into automated, resilient, and auditable security architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity architects and professionals. Design and develop comprehensive and resilient cybersecurity architecture that encompasses network, systems, applications, and data. Ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the organizations technology stack. Identify and evaluate security technologies and solutions to address security risks and vulnerabilities. Ensure adherence to security policies throughout the organization. Conduct architectural risk assessments and vulnerability a Assessments to identify security weaknesses and potential threats. Conduct architectural compliance assessments and audits as needed. Maintain documentation of security architectures, designs, and configurations. Provide regular reports to senior management on the state of cybersecurity architecture and potential risks. Allocate tasks and resources effectively to meet security architecture objectives. Develop and manage the cybersecurity architecture budget. Ensure cost-effective solutions while maintaining security standards. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, BA or equivalent field of studies Key Skills: Certification: Industry certifications such as CISSP, SABSA or TOGAF are highly desirable.
