The Senior Corporate Insurance Manager is responsible for the strategic management, placement, and administration of the organisation’s insurance programs, ensuring comprehensive and cost-effective coverage aligned with the company’s risk profile and corporate and development objectives. The role supports the Risk & Insurance leadership in identifying, assessing, and mitigating insurable risks across the organisation’s portfolio, including property, construction, liability, and specialty lines. The position oversees engagement with insurers, brokers, and internal stakeholders to structure and negotiate optimal insurance solutions, manage renewals, and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. The Senior Corporate Insurance Manager plays a key role in claims management, ensuring timely and effective resolution. Essential duties and responsibilities 1. Support the ongoing development of the Qiddiya strategy to achieve Qiddiya group objectives. 2. Implement & administration of QIC’s insurance strategy aligned with corporate and development objectives. 3. Administer & manage corporate insurance programs including Property, Construction, Liability, and specialty lines. 4. Coordinate with corporate insurance director to ensure optimal coverage levels, limits, deductibles, and policy structures. 5. Support the corporate insurance director to Lead annual insurance renewals, including market testing, benchmarking, and negotiations with insurers and brokers. 6. Participate and assist in the enforcement and implementation of Qiddiya policies, processes, procedures and controls. 7. Assist in the achievement and development of Qiddiya budget in alignment with the organization budgetary requirements to allow effective delivery of desired objectives. 8. Arrange with Qiddiya’s appointed broker the placement of appropriate insurance programs to ensure the required protection to Qiddiya and manage the timely renewals of these policies. 9. Work closely with insurance team, project leaders and relevant team heads to acquire information to ensure coverage in all required classes in good time. 10. Review contractual insurance obligations negotiated with Qiddiya to ensure the required protection to Qiddiya. 11. Act as a point of contact between Qiddiya and internal and external stakeholders on matters related to project insurance to ensure proper communication and alignment and timely placement of required insurances. 12. Instruct QIC’s appointed broker to arrange and place appropriate insurance programs to ensure the required protection to Qiddiya. 13. Assist in arranging in house training sessions to educate key staff in the business on Insurance matters that directly relate to their areas of the business 14. Advise the business on changes in the insurance market and the potential impact of those changes on the policies in place Qiddiya. 15. Oversee insurance data management and reporting, including dashboards and analytics. 16. Drive improvements in insurance processes, systems, and documentation standards. 17. Support integration with ERM systems and digital platforms (eg; Unified Data Platform (UDP), dashboards). 18. Review contracts/ agreements/ orders etc to ensure appropriate insurance provisions and risk allocation. 19. Oversee the end-to-end claims process, ensuring timely notification, documentation, and resolution. 20. Liaise with insurers, brokers, and loss adjusters to optimise claim outcomes. 21. Monitor claims trends and implement corrective measures to reduce exposure. 22. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks. 23. Maintain accurate insurance records, schedules, and policy documentation. 24. Manage insurance budgets and premium allocations across the organisation. 25. Analyse insurance costs, trends, and market conditions to drive cost efficiencies. 26. Support financial planning for risk retention, deductibles, and self-insurance strategies. Attention to detail and governance focus Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Engineering, or related field Professional Certifications Professional certifications preferred (e.g., ACII, CPCU, CRM or equivalent) Experience 15+ years experience in corporate insurance, risk management or brokerage Experience in large-scale developments, construction, or real estate portfolios preferred Strong knowledge of Property All Risk (PAR), OCIP, IDI, Liability, and specialty insurance lines
