The core EPC activities of alfanar Construction are in the fields of: • Power and Water Projects • Transmission and Distribution Projects • Building Construction (Industrial & Commercial) Projects • Electro-Mechanical projects Job Purpose This position exists to plan, organize, and control the electrical activities of the project to best accomplish the successful completion within the guidelines established by the Project Manager according to the established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints. Key Accountability Areas Responsibility: • Review project electrical documents that include, methodology, quality assurance, control procedures, engineering, and construction time schedule • Prepare and review technical submittals such as design, specifications, drawings, calculations, method statements, TPIs, risk assessments … etc. for compliance with client’s requirements, authority requirements, end-user requirements, local and international standards • Oversee/inspect site installation work in daily basis, witness tests, identify non-compliance to construction documentation, and recommend corrective measures • Coordinate on a daily basis with the Team Leader and other team members to verify, document and report the quality issues of work performed by the sub-contractors and provide/suggest corrective actions • Ensuring all construction activities run well at the site and review the progress. • Conducting technical meetings and constant follow-up with Client Design and Engineering Divisions. Quality: • Maintain the quality standards of all electrical activities as per project quality plan Role Accountability Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work. Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment. Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates. Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks. Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues. Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible. Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions. Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
