Job Purpose Improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and high-quality output, while actively seeking opportunities for continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs. Key Accountability Areas Production Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate daily production processes to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. Monitor and control Production Work in Progress (WIP) and sub-store inventory. Process Improvement: Lead efforts to improve processes, optimizing equipment and materials for increased production efficiency. Engineering Support: Provide essential engineering support for production and maintenance activities to maintain operational efficiency. Production Evaluation and Recommendations: Assess ongoing production activities and offer recommendations for improvements. Investigate issues, identify root causes, and suggest effective solutions. Cost Reduction and Quality Standards: Implement initiatives to reduce costs while maintaining high-quality standards. Develop clear operating instructions and equipment specifications for streamlined production. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members, supporting their growth and contributing to production goals. Continuous Improvement and Best Practices: Formulate and implement best practices to enhance production capacity, quality, and reliability. Participate in 5S processes and procedures, collaborating with the safety in-charge. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on product specifications, engineering technology, and the latest production processes. Delivery: Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules. Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time. Quality: Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities. Business Process Improvements: Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible. Compliance: Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions. Health, Safety, and Environment: Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
