Studio: Steer Parent: Savvy Games Group (PIF) Location: In-Person, Riyadh Program Duration: Sep. 1st, 2026 – Feb. 28th, 2027 Compensation: Paid + Health Insurance About the Role Steer Studios is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3D Animation Intern to support our art team in day-to-day operations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in games animation within a professional business environment. Key Responsibilities • Create simple to mid-complexity animations for characters, props, and gameplay elements • Support implementation of animations in Unity (prefabs, basic setup, testing in engine) • Assist with VFX integration using Unity’s particle system (under guidance) • Work closely with designers and artists to ensure animations feel responsive and readable in gameplay • Help prepare prototype ready assets (fast iteration, clear functionality over polish) • Iterate based on feedback and learn to align with style guides and brand requirements • Contribute to team tasks beyond animation when needed (e.g. basic setup, asset tweaks, testing) Qualifications Education: No degree required. Experience & Skills: • No prior professional experience required; training will be provided. • Basic understanding of 3D animation principles (timing, weight, readability) • Familiarity with tools like Maya, Blender, or similar • Some exposure to Unity (student project or personal work is fine) • Strong willingness to learn and take feedback • Interest in mobile and hybrid casual games • Good communication skills in English Communications • Internal communication • Employees within the Steer Studios -- 1 of 1 About the Program: Savvy Kickstarter is a 6-month paid internship program by Savvy Academy designed to prepare KSA national talent for entry-level positions in the gaming industry.
