Job Description
As a Trade Compliance Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our company adheres to international trade regulations. You will be responsible for supervising the development and implementation of trade compliance policies and procedures, ensuring that our business units comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations.
In this role, you will impact the company's ability to navigate international trade regulations, maintain compliance, and facilitate the seamless movement of goods across borders. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing risks and avoiding penalties related to import and export violations.
Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Product Solutions and Services (PSS) business to Brady Corporation. At this time, we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. We expect this role, dedicated to the PSS business, will be part of this future transaction when it closes.
Develop and implement trade compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to import and export regulations
Manage and oversee import and export documentation, including classification, licensing, and customs documentation
Conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on trade compliance matters, including training and awareness programs
Stay updated with changes in trade regulations and communicate the impact to the organization, ensuring compliance with new requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve trade compliance issues and mitigate risks
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ years of experience in trade compliance
Strong knowledge of import and export regulations, including customs laws, export controls, and sanctions
Experience in conducting trade compliance audits and assessments
