Job Description
Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to mechanical and electromechanical products, finding innovative, cost-effective means to improve techniques, procedures, and products and technologies. You will design products to meet customer needs, product quality, manufacturability, new product development, prototype builds, testing. You will develop the product designs necessary to drive product improvement and will be integral in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding Voice of Customer requirements.
Designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.
Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
Design mechanical and electromechanical products and systems that meet needs and requirements
Conduct experiments methodically, analyses data and interpret results
Test and evaluate theoretical designs
Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems
Evaluate final product’s overall performance, reliability and safety
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
WE VALUE
3+ years working experience in mechanical engineering, especially in structural design; The experience in gear train design will be better.
Familiar with valve and actuator applications.
Working experience with product lifecycle management (PLM).
Hands-on experience with computer-aided engineering (CAM) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAE).
Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Creo or other)
Adequate knowledge of engineering analysis tools (ANSYS, ProMechanica or similar)
Mathematical computing and analysis tools knowledge (Matlab, Minitab, etc)
Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
Good time management, creativity and analytical skills
Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
Good English in both speaking and writing
