Estimating Supervisor

As an Estimating Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process and ensuring the accuracy and competitiveness of project bids. This position is crucial in supporting the organization's growth and profitability by leading a team of estimators and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop precise project estimates. In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by ensuring that our bids are accurate and competitive, thereby contributing to the overall growth and profitability of the organization. You will also play a key role in mentoring and developing your team, ensuring high-quality work that aligns with Honeywell's standards. Lead and manage a team of estimators, providing guidance and support throughout the estimation process Oversee the development of accurate and competitive cost estimates for projects Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather project requirements and ensure alignment with customer expectations Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project scope and identify potential risks Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards Manage the bid review process, including presenting cost estimates to senior management Monitor market trends and industry developments to stay updated with the latest estimating practices and technologies Provide input and support in proposal writing, estimating, and project management activities YOU MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in a supervisory role Strong knowledge of construction industry practices and standards Proficiency in using estimating software and tools WE VALUE Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Experience in leading and managing a team of estimators Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to drive results and meet deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy #LI-Hybrid
