Program Manager - Digital Transformation in Healthcare

The Program Manager is a pivotal role in driving digital transformation within a healthcare organization, ensuring the successful execution of complex programs and projects. This position is responsible for strategic planning, execution, and oversight, aligning with the organization's goals and healthcare priorities.

• Lead and manage end-to-end digital transformation programs, encompassing multiple interconnected projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure program initiatives are strategically aligned with the organization's vision and healthcare industry priorities.
• Monitor and report on program performance, milestones, and deliverables.

• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams, operations, finance, and IT.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among various departments.
• Represent the program to executive leadership, providing regular updates and progress reports.
• Organize and chair governance meetings and steering committees.

• Oversee multiple projects within the program, ensuring seamless integration and alignment.
• Identify and manage project dependencies, risks, and potential conflicts.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Implement project management best practices and methodologies.

• Support the implementation and optimization of critical healthcare systems such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Drive process improvements across clinical and administrative workflows.
• Ensure healthcare systems enhance patient care quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Establish and maintain robust program governance structures.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy laws, and security standards.

• Lead organizational change initiatives associated with digital transformation.
• Facilitate user adoption through training, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
• Support business readiness and smooth transition into operational phases.

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and program progress.
• Provide regular updates and insights to senior management and leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing performance data.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.

• A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in program or project management.
• At least 4-6 years of work experience in the healthcare sector, including hospitals, healthcare groups, or healthcare IT.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex, dynamic environments.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
• PRINCE2 and ITIL certifications are advantageous.

• Strong leadership and program management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and healthcare systems.
• Proficiency in risk management and problem-solving.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
