• Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external parties, including the Joint Venture team, manufacturers, and on-site 4PL, to address logistics challenges and optimize costs while maintaining agreed-upon service levels.
• Balance service levels and logistics costs effectively, ensuring margin and service level targets are met.
• Oversee logistics and customs declarations for shipments from SABIC Fujian to transshipment hubs and warehouses, utilizing a contracted 3rd-party logistics provider when necessary for exports.
• Coordinate cargo claims and complaints investigations with relevant parties.
• Manage invoice submission and cost booking according to established processes for accurate cost reporting.
• Assist in creating monthly transport capacity forecasts to support reliable Marine/Land transportation planning.
• Ensure compliance with EHSS regulations and monitor logistics safety at off-site locations, including external container yards and terminals, as well as transportation safety within Fujian.
• Evaluate vendor performance, conduct reviews, and ensure reliable services at optimized costs.
• Implement GC SC leadership recommendations to enhance the delivery strategy, reduce logistics costs, and maintain optimal efficiency within budgetary constraints.
• Maintain market and segment-specific information to support logistics cost optimization.

• Lead and supervise logistics EHSS and SHEM requirements, ensuring compliance with site and service provider standards.
• Analyze risk assessments for precarious factors in site logistics operations.
• Supervise the logistics operation team to adhere to safety regulations and internal requirements.
• Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for logistics field operators and monitor field safety.
• Participate in physical stocktakes at assigned hubs and warehouses.

• Track and report changes in shipping and warehouse trade patterns, shipping capacities, port efficiencies, and designated facility capacities to ensure long-term logistic service smoothness.
• Analyze transport and shipping within the SBU's overall strategy and its impact on assigned facilities and regions.
• Assist in reviewing logistics plans and previous year's performances to set targets and required capabilities.
• Manage assigned site logistics performance, including service and cost reporting.

• Develop monthly marine and land transport capacity forecasts to support transportation planning during S&OP meetings.
• Communicate outbound logistics plans to relevant parties to ensure timely shipments and customer satisfaction within optimized costs and agreed service levels.
• Report any deviations from the business plan and objectives to the manager, focusing on assigned region facility throughput and capability.
• Validate vendor invoices per agreed contracts and process payments by creating POs and SESs.
• Track, monitor, and follow up on goods movement and documents for replenishment orders, adhering to facility capability, customs regulations, and EHSS standards.

• Collaborate with the Joint Venture team, manufacturers, and on-site 4PL to maintain regular communication and ensure smooth logistics flow.
• Lead discussions with internal teams (Planning, Customer Service, Sales) to resolve logistics issues and optimize costs.
• Handle QN (Quality Notification) raising and closure with suppliers/JVs, insurance claims for damaged goods/containers, and claim settlements with insurance companies or stakeholders.

• Manage KPI targets for custom clearance, shipment delivery within defined timeframes, logistics costs, service standards, and EHSS issues.
• Conduct monthly cost analysis, report preparation, and implement cost control measures.
• Accurately submit provisions/accruals to finance at month-end.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of logistics service providers, 3PLs, carriers, and vendors through KPIs and periodic performance evaluations.
• Participate in evaluating new services and contracts, seek feedback, and coordinate issue resolutions to ensure optimized costs and agreed service levels.

• Generate, prepare, analyze, and consolidate monthly and quarterly management performance reports for assigned facilities.
• Review and manage monthly KPI performance with vendors, addressing any operational concerns from internal and external customers.
• Perform additional assigned projects within the supply chain's continuous improvement program.
• Participate in Total Cost Out (TCO) projects at assigned sites, engaging necessary stakeholders.

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration from an accredited university.
• 5 years of experience in Shipping & Logistics Operations, Warehousing Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience with SABIC or in the petrochemicals industry is preferred.
