SABIC - GAS Job Post Start Date: 14.May. 2026 Job Post End Date: 21.May. 2026 Job Purpose: Supports / Assists in performing work of varied nature encompassing a broad range of activities covering direction, coordination, planning, basic engineering and execution of Condition Base Maintenance (CBM), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) recommendation implementation and comprehensive Mechanical / Electrical/Instrument inspection program for all plant rotating equipment and its associated facilities. Ensure the high level of availability of all rotating equipment. Key Accountabilities: Analyze and troubleshoot the failures of plant equipment and trips occurred and initiate action plans and necessary measures for determining and eliminating the root cause. Coordinate as required with outside facilities such as SABIC Coe for failure analysis and prevention. Regularly checks and reviews the condition monitoring activities of the rotating equipment. Performs and carries out interpretations of such results or findings. Study and analyze vibration data to diagnose problems and make appropriate recommendations. Participates in the execution of plant equipment repair works or overhauls during unit shutdowns to ensure the technical quality of the job as per the established standards and given manufacturer instructions. Performs regularly process condition monitoring of the rotating equipment for efficiency assessment. Review machinery upgrades and re-rate. Support planning section during turnarounds to prepare and review the rotating equipment for new/non-routine/specialized SOW Follow up study & execution of MOC related to rotating equipment and provide necessary support and assistance to expedite and complete related issues. Assists in formulating and developing training program for maintenance personnel and ensure on the job training as deemed necessary. Engages the services of outside agencies/vendors pertaining to additional reliability requirements not available in house. Prepares and submits reports about the condition of plant rotating equipment as directed and required. Verify performance test and analyze deviation from standards and faulty operating procedures. Follow up and closing pending open actions of HAZOP / PHA study /RCA/ Incident reports for existing operating plants and provide support and assistance to complete the outstanding issues. Review assigned Coe networking action items related to (SMS, TA ,HLV & BP) and ensure quality implementation of applicable action items related to Rotating discipline through relevant strategies. To As RCA Team Lead • Lead the RCA team to conduct incident investigation and conclude RCAAs RCA Team Member • Participate as RCA member as & when assigned. Attended FAT/SAT at OEM facility workshop for rotating equipment under new project or capital spare procurement or refurbishment. Witness inspection/Balancing at OEM/ vendors workshop and verify results. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 0-3 years of maintenance / engineering experience in the Industrial gases / petrochemical / oil industry related to maintenance of Rotating Equipment, including at least 2 years supervisory experience. Good knowledge of Rotating Machinery thermodynamics, design, operation & maintenance, and related standards such as ASME codes and API standards. Thorough understanding with practical experience in implementation of techniques used in maintenance reliability of Rotating Equipment such as RCM, RCA, etc. Job Specific Skills: Expertise and Good knowledge of plant Rotating equipment and monitoring tools/techniques. RCA Membership and Leadership. PHA Membership, PC and programing skills, Proficiency in English both written and spoken. Competencies: Excellent communication skills. personal relationship and motivation are required too effectively. Team player. Works independently. Initiative / innovative Leadership.
