Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates at Concept, Schematic, and Detailed Design stages. Develop cost plans and cost breakdown structures (CBS). Review design drawings and specifications for completeness and cost implications. Conduct quantity take-offs and rate analysis. Develop cost benchmarks using historical project data. Review and validate contractor BOQs and tender submissions. Conduct commercial evaluation and prepare tender assessment reports. Participate in bid clarification meetings. Provide cost comparison analysis and recommendation reports to the Client/PMC. Develop and monitor project budgets. Provide cost forecasts and cash flow projections. Analyze cost variances and provide mitigation strategies. Support value engineering workshops. Review variation orders and claims from a cost perspective. Support commercial negotiations. Ensure compliance with contract conditions (FIDIC preferred). Assist in final account verification. Prepare monthly cost reports for PMC and Client. Present cost analysis dashboards to senior management. Coordinate with design, planning, procurement, and project control teams Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. 10+ years of cost es ti ma ti on experience in design and development processes. Proficiency in cost es ti ma ti on methodologies, tools, and software. Strong analy ti cal and problem-solving skills. Excellent communica ti on and collabora ti on abili ti es. Atte nt ion to detail and accuracy in data analysis. Knowledge of cost control systems and procedures. Ability to evaluate cost effec ti veness and track actual costs. Strong organiza ti onal and ti me management skills.
