We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager with a minimum of 10 years of expertise in managing logistics operations for large-scale projects within the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) sector. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project logistics, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, to ensure efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites. Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive logistics plans, strategies, and workflows to support project objectives and timelines. Coordinate with project teams to assess logistics requirements and develop tailored solutions for each project phase. Manage the procurement process for project materials, equipment, and services, ensuring timely acquisition and delivery. Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish vendor relationships to support project needs. Coordinate transportation activities, including shipping, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery. Optimize transportation routes, modes, and carriers to minimize costs and maximize efficiency. Establish warehouse facilities, storage layouts, and inventory control systems to manage project materials and equipment. Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement stock rotation strategies to prevent stockouts and overages. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in all logistics activities. Implement safety protocols, training programs, and risk assessments to minimize accidents and incidents. Prepare logistics budgets, cost estimates, and financial forecasts to support project planning and control. Monitor logistics expenditures, track costs against budget, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of logistics activities, including shipping records, inventory reports, and supplier contracts. Prepare regular reports, updates, and analyses on logistics performance, KPIs, and metrics for project stakeholders and management. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in logistics management roles within the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale hospitality projects. Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and regulations, with expertise in project logistics planning and execution. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP, WMS, TMS, and RFID, to optimize logistics operations and performance. Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and meeting project objectives. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements and conditions. Professional certifications or affiliations in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., CSCMP, CSCP, PMP) would be advantageous. Experience working in a PMC environment or with hospitality industry clients. Familiarity with international logistics, trade regulations, and customs procedures.
