We are seeking a highly competent Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to oversee electrical engineering activities within a CMS project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design review, technical compliance, site supervision, and coordination of electrical works throughout all project phases. This role requires in-depth knowledge of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, and other building electrical systems. Responsibilities: Review and verify electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations submitted by consultants and contractors. Ensure compliance with project requirements, international codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, IEEE), and local regulations. Coordinate and liaise with architectural, structural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration. Monitor and inspect electrical works on-site for quality assurance, safety compliance, and adherence to design intent. Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and respond to RFIs (Requests for Information). Support project planning by validating electrical activities, timelines, and milestones. Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT) and oversee testing and commissioning activities. Provide technical support to project teams and contractors during procurement and construction stages. Attend project meetings and prepare technical reports and presentations. Ensure that sustainability and energy efficiency requirements are integrated into the electrical design (where applicable). Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including at least 5 years in a CMS or consultancy role. Deep understanding of building electrical systems: LV, MV, lighting, fire alarm, BMS, and ELV systems. Proficiency in design and analysis tools such as ETAP, Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc. Thorough knowledge of international codes and standards (NEC, IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.). Experience in large-scale infrastructure, commercial, healthcare, or mixed-use developments. Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
