Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Quality Department for construction supervision activities Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and international standards Review and approve Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and quality procedures Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to approved quality standards Conduct quality audits, inspections, and surveillance activities Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions Coordinate with client, consultants, and contractors on all quality-related matters Prepare and present quality reports to senior management and client Ensure proper documentation and control of all quality records Support project teams in resolving technical and quality issues Establish and enforce quality objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the project Lead quality kick-off meetings and regular coordination meetings with contractors and stakeholders Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and technical submissions from a quality perspective Ensure proper site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities are carried out as per approved procedures Oversee third-party inspections and laboratory testing, ensuring compliance with project standards Develop and implement quality training programs for project staff and contractors Monitor and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quality performance Ensure compliance with aviation authority standards and regulations (for airport/airbase projects) Lead root cause analysis for major quality issues and implement preventive measures Maintain and control quality documentation systems including logs, registers, and reports Coordinate with HSE and project controls teams to align quality objectives with overall project goals Support in risk management activities by identifying quality-related risks and mitigation measures Ensure proper handover documentation, as-built records, and closeout reports are completed Participate in client and regulatory inspections and address any observations Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the project’s quality processes Essential Requirements: Minimum 15+ years of experience in QA/QC within construction projects Mandatory experience in Airport or Airbase projects Proven experience in Construction Supervision / PMC environment Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical or related field) Strong knowledge of ISO standards, QA/QC procedures, and international codes Excellent understanding of construction methodologies and quality control processes Professional certifications (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are preferred Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
