Senior Photogrammetry Specialist Salary: Competitive Grade: 5 Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia JOB PURPOSE BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons. The Senior Photogrammetry Specialist is responsible for the collection, processing and analysis of aerial and satellite imagery to support geospatial data and intelligence products. The purpose of this role is to ensure that all data collected and analysed is of high quality and accuracy, meets the applicable geospatial data standards and policies. The Individual should be able to work well unsupervised and will be able to plan and organise the team’s activities. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES · Collects and processes aerial and satellite imagery to support geospatial data and intelligence products. · Process data using photogrammetric software to generate accurate 3D models of objects or terrain. · Ensures that all data collected and analysed meets the applicable geospatial data standards and policies. · Collaborates with other geospatial specialists to integrate photogrammetry data into geospatial products. · Applies analytical and creative skills to develop optimal photogrammetry products. · Monitors photogrammetry data processing and analysis to ensure quality and timeliness. · Assist in the development of new photogrammetric techniques to improve the precision, accuracy, and speed of the output. · Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of photogrammetry platforms and tools. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION Essential · Bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering, or a related field. · Professional certifications in photogrammetry or remote sensing technologies are preferred, such as ASPRS Certified Photogrammetric or ASPRS Remote Sensing Technologists. · Skills in Erdas Imagine, ArcGlS Pro, ArcGlS Desktop, Trimble Inpho. · Extensive experience in photogrammetry roles. · Strong knowledge of photogrammetry principles and technologies. · Creativity and an ability to use photogrammetry technology to create digital elevation models and orthorectified imagery. · Familiarity with geospatial data standards and policies. · Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills. · Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and customers.
